Prize draw terms and conditions

Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.

Our prize draws and competitions are free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

Bahrain Surf Park will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

Bahrain Surf Park reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, our prize draws and competitions are open to all except employees of Edamah and Bahrain Surf Park, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

Entrants under 18 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering. The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of entrants under 18 agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Bahrain Surf Park may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition.

Bahrain Surf Park reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition.

The Draw

A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within one month of the prize draw or competition ending.

The winner will receive details of the prize.

The winner will be notified by email or telephone or through the messaging feature of the social media platform used to enter (using details provided at entry) within 7 days of being chosen. If a winner does not respond to the administrators of the Bahrain Surf Park prize draw within 3 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and Bahrain Surf Park will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

The arrangements to claim the prize will be arranged with the winner within 14 days of responding to the administration agents.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Bahrain Surf Park reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Bahrain Surf Park’s control makes it necessary to do so.

The decision of Bahrain Surf Park regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Bahrain Surf Park reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, Bahrain Surf Park, its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss howsoever arising, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the direct negligence of Bahrain Surf Park. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data protection and publicity

Bahrain Surf Park is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and Bahrain Surf Park’s Privacy Policy (available at www.bahrainsurfpark.com).

By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by the Bahrain Surf Park or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

Governing law

All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by Bahrain law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Bahrain courts.

Bahrain Surf Park reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

Prize Detail

1. Prize must be booked and taken within 3 months after the opening of Bahrain Surf Park (currently planned for 2026 subject to delay).
2. Prize is subject to availability.
3. Surfing at Bahrain Surf Park is subject to availability on sessions/lessons and must be prebooked 24 hours in advance.
4. Prizes are not transferable and is subject to General Manager discretion.

The Prize does not include:

1. Food, drink, refreshments of any kind during duration of stay other than what is stated as a prize if any.
2. Transport costs 
3. Any other equipment hire.
