Safety at Bahrain Surf Park

Safety at Bahrain Surf Park

Club Hawaii @ Bahrain Surf Park wants to make sure you and your family are safe in and out of the water while you are experiencing all the fun.

Whether you are ready to jump in and surf, just having a splash in the pool, or taking in the action from the beach; it is important to follow the rules of the park and always follow the instructions of the lifeguards and surf coaches on duty.

Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Anyone that does not follow the park safety rules or chooses to ignore instructions in or out of the water, may be asked to leave. Our trained lifeguards and surf coaches are on site at all times to support safety and in the unlikely event of an emergency administer first aid as required.

Safety for playing in the water

Safety for playing in the water

Coming to Club Hawaii @ Bahrain Surf Park to enjoy the pools, the splash park or to experience the play in the bays is full of fun! But there is a serious side about safety.

The safety of all guests is our highest priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, children must be supervised by a parent or responsible guardian at all times, whether they are in the water or on land. This applies to all areas of the surf park, including wave pools, leisure pools, splash pads, shallow play zones, walkways, and surrounding facilities.

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and behaviour of the children in their care. Active supervision means remaining close enough to see, hear, and respond immediately if assistance is needed.

Qualified lifeguards are on duty throughout the park to help monitor the water and surrounding areas and to respond quickly to any incidents. While lifeguards play a vital role in maintaining safety, they do not replace parental or guardian supervision.

In the event of an emergency, or if you require assistance at any time, please alert the nearest lifeguard immediately. Lifeguards are trained to provide prompt support and ensure appropriate action is taken.

By following these guidelines, we can work together to create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all.

Safety while surfing in the water

Safety while surfing in the water

The safety of all surfers who come to experience the thrill of surfing at Club Hawaii @ Bahrain Surf Park is our highest priority.

To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable surf experience, all guests must attend a full safety briefing before every surf session, regardless of experience level or how many times they have surfed with us previously. These briefings are mandatory and designed to ensure everyone understands the conditions, rules, and expectations for that session.

Qualified lifeguards are on duty at all times, actively monitoring both the water and the behaviour of surfers during each session. Lifeguards are trained to respond immediately in the event of an emergency and to help maintain a safe environment for everyone in the lineup.

Surf culture is built on mutual respect, awareness, and surf etiquette, ensuring that all surfers understand right of way, positioning, and conduct in the water. Following these principles helps everyone enjoy their session while keeping safety at the forefront.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, any surfer who does not follow the safety briefing, instructions during their session, or surf etiquette guidelines may be asked to exit the water, and their session may end immediately. These measures are in place to protect all participants and to ensure every surf session is safe, respectful, and fun for everyone.

Safety at the beach & park

Safety at the beach & park

The safety of all guests is our highest priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the surf park, children must be supervised by a parent or responsible guardian at all times, even if they do not plan on entering the water. This applies to all land-based areas, including beaches, walkways, viewing zones, splash areas, food and beverage areas and surrounding facilities.

Guests are reminded that the park contains open, unfenced water areas, and extra care must be taken when moving around the site. Parents and guardians are responsible for remaining alert and maintaining close supervision of children near all water and activity zones.

For families wishing for additional support, children may only be supervised by Keiki Zone staff if they are officially registered at the Keiki Zone reception area and a waiver signed for use of the Keiki Zone. Children who are not registered remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.

Certain areas of the surf park, including private cabanas and reserved spaces, are designated for the exclusive use of guests who have booked and paid for those services. We kindly ask all guests to respect these private areas to ensure comfort, privacy, and a positive experience for everyone.

Lifeguards and park staff are present to help monitor activity across the site and to respond quickly in the event of an emergency. By staying aware, following park guidelines, and supervising children at all times, we can work together to create a safe, respectful, fun and welcoming environment for all guests.

Splash, play, and unwind in our pools, or kick back on our sunloungers and watch the surf action with a Beach Pass.
