Construction has officially begun on Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience following a groundbreaking ceremony held at Bilaj Al Jazayer on Bahrain’s southwest coast.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from Edamah, Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, GFH Financial Group, project partners, consultants, and leadership involved in the development of the destination.
Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience is set to become the first surf park in the MENA region to feature Wavegarden Cove technology, an advanced wave generation system capable of producing up to 1,000 waves per hour across multiple surf levels.
The project forms part of the wider Bilaj Al Jazayer masterplan and will combine surfing, leisure, hospitality, and lifestyle experiences within a beachfront destination designed for families, beginners, experienced surfers, and visitors alike.
Alongside the wave lagoon, the destination will include the Club Hawaii Experience Academy, food and beverage venues, retail, cabanas, event spaces, social areas, and dedicated facilities for private and group experiences.
Designed as a year-round active leisure destination, Bahrain Surf Park aims to support tourism growth, community engagement, and new recreational experiences within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
