Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience remains on track for its planned 2026 opening at Bilaj Al Jazayer on Bahrain’s southwest coast.

Set to become the first surf park in the MENA region to feature Spain’s Wavegarden Cove technology, the destination will combine surfing, hospitality, lifestyle, and leisure experiences within a year-round beachfront environment.

The advanced wave system is designed to generate up to 1,000 waves per hour while accommodating up to 90 surfers simultaneously across multiple surf levels, from complete beginners to experienced riders.

At the heart of the destination will be the Club Hawaii Surf Academy, offering structured surf programs and coaching experiences designed to make surfing approachable, safe, and accessible for all ages and abilities.

Beyond the waves, Bahrain Surf Park will include restaurants, retail spaces, terraces, cabanas, event areas, and dedicated social and entertainment spaces designed to create a broader lifestyle destination around the water.

The project forms a key part of the wider Bilaj Al Jazayer masterplan being developed through the collaboration between Edamah and GFH Financial Group.

As momentum continues to build toward opening, Bahrain Surf Park aims to position Bahrain as a new regional destination for active leisure, surf culture, and year-round beachfront experiences.
