Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience has reached a significant construction milestone as the filling of the surf lake officially begins, bringing the project one step closer to welcoming guests to Bahrain’s newest active leisure destination.
Located at Bilaj Al Jazayer, Bahrain Surf Park – Club Hawaii Experience is designed to combine surfing, leisure, hospitality, and community experiences in a unique beachfront setting. The commencement of water filling marks an important stage in the development of the project, transforming the site from a construction zone into a destination that is beginning to take shape.
Over the coming weeks, the surf lake will gradually fill as testing and commissioning preparations continue across the project. Once operational, the surf lake will be powered by advanced Wave garden technology, capable of producing consistent waves for surfers of different ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced riders.
The milestone offers the first glimpse of the scale and character of the destination, which will feature surf experiences, the Club Hawaii Surf Academy, dining venues, pools, cabanas, retail offerings, and family-friendly attractions designed to create a vibrant year-round leisure environment.
“Seeing the surf lake begin to fill is an exciting moment for everyone involved in the project,” said Victoria Williams, General Manager. “It represents years of planning, design, and construction coming together and brings us closer to sharing the Club Hawaii Experience @ Bahrain Surf Park with the community. Every step forward reinforces our vision of creating a destination where people can connect through water, movement, wellbeing, and fun.”
The project forms part of Bahrain’s evolving tourism and leisure landscape and reflects growing demand for active experiences that can be enjoyed by families, residents, visitors, and aspiring surfers alike.
As construction progresses, Bahrain Surf Park will continue to share key milestones and behind-the-scenes updates as the destination moves closer to opening.
